Growing Around Grief: An Ongoing Grief Therapy Group

You don’t have to walk through grief alone.

Grief is a deeply personal journey, and there is no right timeline for healing. Growing Around Grief is an ongoing psychoeducational therapy group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, you are welcome to join when you feel ready.

Facilitated by a Registered Provisional Psychologist, this group provides a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to share your experiences, connect with others who understand, and learn practical strategies for coping with grief.

Each session combines education, guided discussion, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, self-compassion, and meaning-making. Topics are flexible and responsive to the needs of the group, allowing participants to gain support and practical tools at any stage of their grief journey.

Topics May Include
